Rooted Dirt
Rooted Dirt is a small, endless, cozy puzzle game about roots. You are playing as a tree, and you need to survive and grow through the years and seasons.
Water, light and temperature will be your preoccupations, as you cross bigger and bigger grids of ressources, as well as the precious time you are given.
How long will you be able to survive ?
Made for the Beginner's Jam Summer 2025, I made the code, game design, art and music of this project in unity in 7 days.

Cool cocept, hard to understand on start
this is a nice cozy game. it is a bit hard to understand first. like i didnt know the bar at the bottom was a progress bar. but once you get it its pretty nice. 7.5/10
The idea is great and covers the topic well, honestly at first I really didn’t understand that there was no interactivity or something, but there was a help button but I didn’t notice it right away and it’s an interesting and sticky game in the cozy genre, good luck with the development :)
